Sell potential guest a Sundance experience. Ensure accuracy of reservations, accounting, extranets and databases.
|Duties:||ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. |
Warmly greet and thank each contact.
Assist potential guest with reserving and booking their Sundance experience.
Provide exceptional customer service and relations.
Ensure accuracy of all aspects of the reservation.
Provide timely correspondence to guest and potential guest.
Responsible for daily checklist.
Track various data accurately.
Develop extensive knowledge of accommodations, amenities, resort, events and programming.
Effectively communicate Sundance knowledge to all contacts.
Assist in compiling reports.
Ensure stock of updated lodging and resort information.
Ensure accuracy of extranets and SMS databases.
Assist other departments with various projects, including reservations.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.

In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Reservationists are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are permitted.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Shorts are not permitted.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are acceptable if in good condition.
T-Shirts (long or short-sleeved) only allowed if they have the Sundance logo on them.
Hats are not allowed.
Reservationists must be dressed in a way that would be appropriate for face-to-face interaction with a Sundance guest at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have customer service experience.
Must be detail oriented and have great customer service skills.
Must have phone sales experience.
Must have proficient computer abilities and be able to type 40 words per minute.
Must be proficient with a ten key. Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation, electronic mail, and gain proficiency in SMS.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must speak, read and write English accurately and fluently.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
