SUMMARY
Greet, direct and drives guests and employees to suitable parking area to prevent congestion and promote exceptional costumer service.
| | Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All Sundance representatives are expected to:
Embrace and promote all facets of the Sundance Guiding Principles: vision, mission, service guidelines, and values.
Exhibit job and product knowledge to accurately support and promote all Sundance departments, amenities and programming ventures.
Strategically balance customer, business, and employee needs.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, work well under pressure, and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
Possess the necessary social skills to work with a broad based constituency and provide excellent service to all internal and external guests.
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Keep information confidential as directed in the confidentiality agreement and furthermore support and comply with all Sundance policies, procedures, and standards.
Protect Sundance assets.
Be an ambassador of Sundance inside and outside of work.
Operates radio to communicate with base and other vehicles.
Cleans and fuels vehicles.
Direct guests and employees on where to park their car and the direction of the venue.
Drive employees and guests to and from overflow parking lots in twenty-five passenger mini-bus.
Drive vehicle to all destinations according to assigned schedule.
Knowledgeable about all aspects of the property, ie: lodging, dining, shops, mountain recreation, activities and their locations.
Assist guests by answering questions and giving directions.
Excellent people skills and ability to pacify disgruntled employees and guests.
Transport people on and off Sundance property in all types of vehicles, including busses that carry more than 16 people per vehicle.
Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.
DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest’s impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
All staff are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be fashionable, unwrinkled, clean, and in good condition
Blue jeans are permitted in clean, good condition, fashionably placed weathering is allowed. No rips, tears or frays.
Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Oversize, slogan tee shirts are prohibited.
Fashion shorts are allowed mid-thigh to knee, no short shorts or cut off jean shorts.
As with clothing, all footwear must be in clean, good condition.
No rubber flip flops.
No baseball hats

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers’ License in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.
Commercial Drivers License with passenger rating, Class C, if driving mini-bus off property.
(This is mandatory for a Level III Parking Attendant.)
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
