Shift: 8 AM- 5 PM
Available 7 days a week, weekends, holidays. Weekly shift usually is 5 days per week.
SUMMARY
Assists the management of the lift operators and the operations of all lifts or a specific lift as assigned.
| | Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises workers engaged in the operation of lifts in the absence of the lift supervisor.
Functions as a lift operator when not supervising and performs all other tasks required of employees as needed.
Assists with scheduling of staff, maintains time sheets, training, production records and performance reviews. This includes follow-up tracking and adjustments of TimeSaver statistics and input.
Reports any concerns and work problems and assists in solving these problems. This includes filling out reports of lift incidents and record keeping, when the Lift Manager or lift supervisor is not available.
Assists in the hiring of lift staff.
Directs workers engaged in the operation of lifts, in the absence of the lift manager or lift supervisor.
Supports and interprets company policies to the workers, enforces policies; rewarding and disciplining employees.
Inspects and checks work for conformance to Sundance standards.
Analyzes and resolves work problems and will assist in solving these problems.
Initiates plans and help motivate employees.
Performs all other tasks required of employees when needed.
Addresses any complaints and resolves problems with the public, as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lifts, 20 – 25 part time and full time seasonal employees.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.
DRESS CODE

In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on the duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are permitted.
Men’s shirts must be tucked in.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
A tailored fit is required of all clothing.
Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Proper footwear for your department is required.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited unless there is a business need (ie: Canyon Clean Up, Guided Hike)
T-shirts must be in good condition and posses appropriate Sundance logos.
Hats are not permitted indoors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six months to one year supervisory or Sundance experience required. Must be mechanically inclined.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency in electronic mail and word processing.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
None required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write routine reports and simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
